Biden: “Obama not ready”
If Joe Biden is to be Obama’s VP, as it appears is the case, then you can look forward to this quote being thrown around a lot (it already has). This is an exchange between George Stephanopolous and Biden in 2007:
STEPHANOPOULOS: You were asked, “Is he ready?”
You said, “I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the- job-training.”
BIDEN: I think that — I stand by the statement.
This is one of those gaffes where people accidently tell the truth in a way they will regret. Obama isn’t qualified and Biden knew it. Now he gets to try and explain himself. Should be fun
