I guess you guys would prefer a speech delivered akwardly through an ear bud “ala W Bush” speeches on FEAR and TERRORISM shocking America into giving up our liberties (Patriot Act) rather than instilling hope, unity and patriotism. Michelle Obama’s speech made me feel more patriotic than any stupid lapel pin ever could, her speech made me want to volunteer, made me remember what a great country we live in and want to fight for my son’s place in our society. I come from a middle class perspective and from parents who always voted Republican (stupid poor white trash who dont know any better). She kicks the trollop and the librarian to the curb with her insight and by far trumps W Bush, you could tell she felt her speech and it was just not a puppet like Bush.
They have won my vote, and I was on the fence.
Crypt Keeper McCain is going to have to do better than Paris Hilton comparisons on this election. :)

I’m a 54 year old woman who was already for Barack, but after hearing Michelle speak, I would vote for him twice if possible.

She was articulate and spoke from the heart.

I am one of those poor white trash people who vote republican because I don’t know any better. Except, I do know better, I research the issues, I read the truth vice relying on some reporters opinion to make my decision. Most democrats vote strictly from what the candidate can give them or has promised to give them. The democratic party is the party of entitlements. What can I promise them that will buy their vote? Mr. Obamanation has promised close to 1 trillion (thats a 1 with 12 zeros after it) dollars in entitlements to buy the vote. Mrs. Obamanation mirrored his call for change with no plans what-so-ever on how to do it. Its all just fluff to get elected. He and she are just empty shirts, talking heads. God help us if we elect that blowhard. We will end up just one more third rate socialist nation. Read the facts Melissa don’t rely on the media. Learn to take care of yourself don’t expect handouts.

Nice speach. If only Barack stood for something other than higher taxes, higher taxes and oh ya higher taxes. Lets see ‘Big Oil’ earned 11b last quarter and paid 34b in taxes. Who got the windfall?

I love the silly little racist gurl, melissa… They never learn. Unfortunately there are allot like her and they are called members of the Demokratic Peoples Workers Party… Mr. B.H. Obama, for all of his talented speachifing has said little. Here inside we call that a; Hot-Air-Pol… Perhaps after a few sessions in the Senate and potentially one in a State Executive Mansion he will gain experience and gravitas to govern.

Right now the Presidency is too important to hand to a rookie.

It amazes me how many people have been caught up in the cult of personality that is Barak Obama… It truely shows what happens when an entire generation of people are raised in government schools. Let’s talk about hope and raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens… maybe then we’ll all get along, and the muslim extremists who want to kill us will play nice too. I know! Why don’t we buy the world a coke!

Get real folks… we NEED to FEAR. There are crazy people with nukes! Healthcare is not, as Teddy said, a “fundemental right”, raising taxes for entitlement programs is not the answer… And racism is racism, regardless of what color you are (that means you Ms. Obama).

Careful what you ask for America…. you may just get it.

As I watched Michelle giving her speach the media did close up’s of spell bound observers. That is all good but voting for Obama because you are in his/her spell is what they are counting on. What ever your party is you can not vote because of a well PREFORMED speach or speaches. As AMERICANS we have to do the work! That means read ALL that you can find and seek out the answers to unanswered questions. Even if I don’t like what I hear, see or read it MAKES ME THINK. Please Do The Work!
